My Story

My interest in Formula 1 began in 2022, when my housemate encouraged me to watch the season alongside her and I quickly became hooked. From watching Drive to Survive on the sofa to experiencing the drama of my very first race, it didn’t take long before I was shouting at the TV during Imola or booking tickets to my first live race in Singapore that same year.

What started as a personal passion soon developed into something more. I launched Thinking Formula as a space to share long-form race analysis, opinion pieces, and fan-focused commentary with others who love the sport. Since then, I’ve written extensively on performance, strategy, and fan engagement, combining detailed research with storytelling that speaks to the heart of motorsport.

Alongside my writing, I work in public relations and digital communications, where I support clients with media relations, social media campaigns, and creative content strategies. The skills I use in my professional career – from copywriting and press work to campaign planning – have naturally shaped my approach to this blog. For me, Thinking Formula is about blending professional communications expertise with genuine fan enthusiasm, creating a space where the sport can be explored in both detail and passion.

If you’ve found your way here, hopefully you’re a like-minded thinker too.
